The Problem

If you don't play, you lose

Credit card rewards aren't a bonus game you can simply opt out of — the costs are already baked in for everyone. The only question is which side of the table you're sitting on.

The earning gap
0-1%

You're earning next to nothing

Pay with debit or cash and you earn exactly 0%. Swipe a basic flat-rate card and you earn a measly 1% — while the right cards routinely pay 3-5x more on the same spending.

The hidden markup
2-3%

You're paying for rewards either way

Grocery stores, restaurants, and nearly every merchant raise prices to cover the interchange fees that fund rewards programs. That markup is in your bill whether you collect points or not.

The bottom line
You lose

Not playing subsidizes the players

Every purchase you make at rewards-inflated prices — without earning rewards back — quietly funds someone else's free flight. Opting out doesn't save you money; it just makes you the one paying for it.

A simple, three-step path to more value

No jargon, no spreadsheets to maintain yourself. We do the analysis — you get a plan you can actually follow.

Your personalized Points Path

A written strategy matched to your spending, goals, and credit profile: which cards to get, in what order, and how to use each one to its full value.

03

More money in your pocket

Watch the value stack up — cash back you actually feel, and points that find their way to flights, hotel suites, and places you've always wanted to go. Want it to keep going as the card landscape shifts? That's what Concierge is for.

The guarantee: you pay up front. Before we build anything, we write down what your current cards earn on your spending and you sign off on that baseline. If your delivered plan doesn't identify at least $500 more in first-year value than that baseline — $1,000 for Concierge — email us within 30 days and your full consulting fee will be refunded. It measures value identified in the plan, not rewards you later redeem: card approvals, issuer offers, program changes, and award availability are set by the banks and airlines, not by us. Declined for enough cards that the plan falls short? We rebuild it around what you can get, free. How we calculate it.

Concierge — Scope of Service

Exactly what a year of Concierge covers

+

Written out in full, so the boundaries read the same on day 300 as they do on day one. The Essentials and Points Path are delivered engagements and aren’t affected by any of this.

Support hours
Email support runs Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm Pacific, excluding US federal holidays and a published year-end closure between December 24 and January 1. Anything that arrives outside those hours is picked up on the next business day.
Response vs. resolution
First reply within one business day — that’s a response commitment, not a resolution commitment. Anything needing research comes back with an ETA in that first reply and is typically resolved within three business days.
Fair use
Email support covers questions about your plan. Fair use is up to four email threads a month — a thread being one question and its follow-ups. If you’re consistently past that, we’ll say so and agree on added scope rather than quietly slowing down.
Strategy reviews
Two 45-minute reviews during the term, normally around month 6 and month 12. Booked at least five business days ahead. Reschedules are free with 24 hours’ notice; a no-show uses the review.
Redemption requests
One included. One request means one trip: a single origin and destination, up to two travelers, one set of dates with up to three days’ flexibility either side, researched once. Changing the destination or the travel window afterwards is a new request. Additional requests are $95 each and are always quoted before any work starts.
Who it covers
You and one spouse or partner at the same address, and the cards held in your two names. Additional adults, adult children, a separate household, or a business entity are separate engagements — we’ll tell you before anything is billed.
Term & expiration
The 12 months run from the delivery date of your Points Path. Unused reviews and an unused redemption request don’t roll over and have no cash value.
Renewal
Nothing auto-renews and no card is kept on file. About a month before your term ends we’ll email you one offer: Concierge Renewal, $299 for another 12 months at the same scope. Ignoring that email costs you nothing and simply ends the engagement.

Why the limits are written down. A one-time fee with open-ended support ends up rationed quietly — slower replies, vaguer answers. Naming the numbers means the service you read about is the service you get, and it stays worth delivering properly. Need more than this shape allows? Say so and we’ll quote it plainly.

Who We Help

Built for real spending habits, not hobbyists

You don't need to become a points expert. You just need someone who already is.

💳

Everyday Spenders

You're not trying to become a points expert — you just don't want to keep leaving free money on the table. We build a simple system that runs quietly in the background.

✈️

Travel Lovers

You want flights and hotel stays paid for with points, not cash. We show you which programs actually deliver outsized value and how to redeem for maximum return.

💼

Small Business Owners

High spend on supplies, ads, and travel is a rewards opportunity most owners never capture. We help you separate business and personal strategy and stack the right cards. See the business practice →

📈

High Earners

Your spend is significant enough that even a 2% gap is real money. We build a strategy that matches premium spending with premium redemption value.

Why Trust Us

Independent by design

We do not sell credit cards. We do not earn referral commissions, affiliate fees, or kickbacks of any kind from banks or issuers. Every recommendation we make is based on one thing: what puts the most value back in your pocket. That's it.

  • ✓ No card sales
  • ✓ No affiliate commissions
  • ✓ No bank partnerships influencing advice
  • ✓ Just an honest, personalized strategy

Our Guarantee

Find $500+ in first-year value, or your full fee is refunded.

$1,000 for Concierge. You pay up front; we agree a written baseline of what your current cards earn, and the guarantee is the difference between that and your delivered plan. Valued conservatively — bonuses and credits you'd actually use, minus annual fees. Claim within 30 days. It's not a guarantee of card approval — if you're declined for enough cards to fall short, we rebuild the plan around what you can get at no charge. Full definition.

FAQ

Questions people ask before booking

Do you apply for cards for me?+

No. We don't submit applications, obtain credit for anyone, or promise approvals — those decisions belong to the issuers alone. What you get is the plan: which published offers fit the spending you already have, and what order to go in. Whether and when to apply stays entirely in your hands.

Do you need my card numbers or logins?+

Never. Not card numbers, not your SSN, not online banking or rewards-program logins. The plan is built from what you tell us about your spending. If anyone claiming to be us ever asks for a password, it isn't us — close the tab and email us directly.

What happens if a card turns me down?+

Declines happen, and the plan is built to survive them. The Points Path includes a revision round, so we re-route the sequence around whatever the issuer said no to. And if declines leave your delivered plan short of its guaranteed value, we rebuild it around cards you can get, free.

Is this safe for my credit score?+

Applying usually means a hard inquiry, and a new account can move your score in either direction. Everyone's profile reacts differently, so we don't predict credit-score outcomes. What we do is look at your profile before recommending anything, and sequence applications so you're never applying blind.

Are annual fees counted in the value you quote?+

Yes — every number is net of fees. A card only makes your plan if what it returns on your actual spending clears the fee comfortably, and the plan flags each renewal date so you can decide whether a card keeps its spot in year two.

What if award prices or availability change?+

They will — award charts move and space comes and goes. That's why plans lean on transferable points instead of one airline's currency: when a route gets stingy, your points have somewhere else to go. The redemption playbook shows you how to search well, and Concierge clients can hand us a trip and get booking instructions back.

Can my spouse or partner be part of the plan?+

Yes — and they probably should be, since a two-player household roughly doubles the welcome offers available to you. The Essentials and Points Path are built around your household's combined spending. Concierge covers you plus one spouse or partner at the same address; the scope of service above has the exact boundary.

What if I carry a balance or have debt?+

Then this isn't the right service for you yet, and we won't take you on as a client. Card interest runs 20–30% a year — far more than any rewards strategy can return — so optimizing rewards while you're paying interest would only cost you money. We'll tell you that on the free call rather than sell you something that can't help.

We're not credit counselors and we don't provide debt repayment planning. If you'd like free, impartial help, the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (nfcc.org) is a good place to start. Once your statements are consistently paid in full, come back — you'll be exactly who this is built for.

Will you tell me to spend more to earn more rewards?+

No. The plan is built on spending you already do. If hitting a welcome offer would mean spending money you weren't going to spend anyway, that card doesn't belong in your plan.

Do you sell my data or share it with banks?+

No. Your information isn't sold or shared with issuers, banks, or advertisers. Our only revenue is the fee you pay us — nobody else is paying for access to you.

Is this legal and above board?+

Yes. The advice is independent, educational consulting built on publicly available card terms and program rules. We're not a bank, lender, or credit repair company, and we will never ask for your card numbers, SSN, or online banking credentials.

Will you help me raise my credit score?+

No — we are not a credit repair or credit services organization. We don't dispute items on your credit report, negotiate with bureaus or creditors, or offer score-improvement services, and we make no representations about improving your credit history or rating. If your score needs work, a nonprofit credit counselor is the right resource; we're happy to point you that way.

How is this different from a rewards blog or Reddit thread?+

A blog post doesn't know your spending mix, your credit profile, or where you actually want to go. We do the same homework a good blogger does, but on your numbers — and we're still here when something changes.

Landin Miyake
About

Hi, I'm Landin.

Years ago, I was in a long-distance relationship with the woman who's now my wife — and after one too many weekends of booking last-minute $300 flights to see her, I realized the airlines were winning a game I didn't even know I was playing. So I learned the points and miles game, properly.

Those same flights started costing me almost nothing. Since then, my wife and I have earned more than $25,000 in credit card rewards — flights and hotel stays around the world, paid for with points from spending we were doing anyway. Those points have let us see and travel the world together — trips we never could have justified at full price.

Spendworth Group exists because good advice is surprisingly hard to find. There's endless information out there — but most of it is either pushing an affiliate code or just plain wrong. You need a pro whose only incentive is you. No card sales, no commissions, just a strategy built around your real spending.
