You keep track of 1,000 things to run your business. Card strategy shouldn't be one of them.
Outsource it to an expert. I turn the spend already leaving your account every month into $4,500–$8,000 a year in first-class flights and five-star hotels — without changing how you run your books.
What $15,000 a month actually earns
Illustrative example at conservative redemption values. Your call uses your real numbers.
Real spend, real value
Optimized credit card spend to earn an additional $5,000 of value in the first year.
Optimized credit card spend to earn an additional $3,500 in value in the first year.
Value measured against what the same spend earned before the strategy.
If this sounds like your business, we should talk
- ✓ You run $10,000+/month in expenses that could go on a card
- ✓ Zero employees or fifty — spend matters, headcount doesn't
- ✓ You'd rather fly up front than let 2% cash back die as a statement credit
Three steps, starting with a free call
The Free 15-Minute Call
Bring last month's numbers — or just rough category totals. In 15 minutes I map what your spend should be earning. You leave with the number either way.
Your Business Points Path
The exact cards, the order, and the timing — sequenced against your real spend so every welcome offer clears naturally. Delivered as a written plan you own.
Ongoing Optimization
On the monthly retainer: spend reviews, new-offer monitoring, employee card strategy, and redemption research. Tell me the trip and I find the best award space and hand you exact booking instructions — you stay in control of your own accounts.
What the paid engagement costs, and what you get
The call is free and carries no obligation to buy anything. If you do want the plan built, here is the entire engagement in advance — scope, price, deliverables, and timeline — so nothing about it is a surprise on the call.
The free call
We map what your spend should be earning. You leave with the number whether or not you hire me. No proposal is presented and no price is quoted on the call itself.
Written scope & fixed price
A short email: what I’d build, the fixed one-time fee, and the baseline your guarantee is measured against. You decide on your own time.
Your Business Points Path
Delivered within seven business days of the signed baseline — a complete written plan you own outright, walked through on a 60-minute delivery call.
Implementation support
Included in the fee. Applications typically clear over 60–90 days as welcome offers land, and I’m on email throughout that first month.
What you receive
- ✓A sequenced card plan — which cards, in what order, and the month to apply for each, timed so every welcome offer clears on spend you’re already doing.
- ✓A category map — every recurring expense line (ads, software, shipping, inventory, travel, utilities) assigned to the card that earns most on it.
- ✓Employee and authorized-user structure — who gets a card, on which account, and how the spend consolidates.
- ✓A redemption plan — the specific trips your projected points cover, with programs and transfer partners named.
- ✓A 12-month calendar — annual fee dates, offer expirations, and when each decision comes back up.
Implementation support — included, first 30 days
- ✓Email support while you apply — order, timing, and reconsideration questions answered within one business day.
- ✓One 30-minute follow-up call once your first approvals land, to adjust the sequencing to what actually happened.
- ✓If an issuer declines an application, I re-plan around it at no charge. Approval decisions belong to the issuers, so the remedy is a new route rather than a refund.
- ✓You apply and book from your own accounts throughout. I never log in, never hold credentials, and never take custody of points.
Most plans land between $489 and $749, depending on how many entities and spend categories are involved. Your exact fee is fixed in writing before you commit and does not change after.
The guarantee. Before anything is built, we write down what your current cards earn on your real spend and you sign off on that baseline. If the delivered plan doesn’t beat it by at least $3,000 in projected first-year value, your fee is refunded in full.
Start With the Free CallThe call carries no obligation to buy. It’s free whether or not you go further, and it isn’t a sales call with a plan attached. You get your number on the call and a written scope by email — then you decide, on your own time. Nothing is presented live, no discount expires, and there’s no follow-up sequence.
The $250/month retainer is separate and optional. It isn’t bundled into the fee and it doesn’t start with the plan — it begins only if you ask for it after your plan is delivered. Plenty of owners take the Points Path and run it themselves.
The business retainer — $250 a month
Business spend changes every month, and so do the offers. The retainer is the only ongoing engagement on the business side — one flat monthly fee, no tiers, no minimum term.
- What's included
- A monthly spend review, new welcome-offer and sweet-spot monitoring, employee/authorized-user card strategy, and redemption research for trips you're planning. Card recommendations are updated as offers change.
- How redemptions work
- I research the best options and give you exact booking instructions — which program, which transfer partner, which dates, and what it should cost in points. I never log into your accounts and never ask for your credentials. You make every booking and every application yourself.
- Communication
- One 45-minute call each month, plus unlimited email — replies within one business day. Redemption research is up to two trips per month; more than that, we'll agree on scope first.
- Billing & renewal
- Month to month, charged on the same date each month, renewing automatically until you cancel. No setup fee and no cancellation fee. Cancel by email before your next billing date and the retainer ends with that month — no partial-month charges, no refunds for a month already begun.
- Authorization
- Nothing is ever done on your behalf. Every card application, account change, and booking is made by you, from your own accounts. I don't submit applications, hold credentials, or take custody of points. Approval decisions belong entirely to the issuers.
- Before the retainer
- Every engagement starts with the free 15-minute call and a written Business Points Path. The retainer is optional — plenty of owners take the plan and run it themselves.
The part that usually worries owners
“Will this complicate my bookkeeping?”
No. Nothing about how you categorize expenses changes — cards map to the same categories your bookkeeper already uses.
“Does this touch my personal credit?”
The setup is structured to keep day-to-day business activity off your personal report, and we go over exactly how on the call.
“Do I have to change vendors or how I pay people?”
No. You keep paying the same people — we change the rail the money rides on, not the relationship.
Hi, I'm Landin.
Years ago, I was in a long-distance relationship with the woman who's now my wife — and after one too many weekends of booking last-minute $300 flights to see her, I realized the airlines were winning a game I didn't even know I was playing. So I learned the points and miles game, properly.
Those same flights started costing me almost nothing. Since then, my wife and I have earned more than $25,000 in credit card rewards — flights and hotel stays around the world, paid for with points from spending we were doing anyway.
Today I run point strategies every single day — and business owners are where the math gets serious. Ad budgets, inventory, software, shipping: it's five to ten times the spend of a household, which means five to ten times the travel. No card sales, no commissions, just a strategy built around how your business already spends.
Common questions from owners
What if my business carries a card balance?
Then this isn't the right time, and we won't take you on as a client. Card interest runs 20–30% a year — far more than any rewards strategy returns — so optimizing rewards while you're paying interest only costs you money. We'll say so on the free call rather than sell you something that can't help. We're not credit counselors and we don't provide debt repayment planning; the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (nfcc.org) is a free, impartial place to start. Once balances are consistently paid in full, come back.
Will opening business cards hurt my personal credit?
Most business cards keep day-to-day activity off your personal bureaus. The application itself shows up as an inquiry, and that's usually the whole story. We'll go over how your specific cards report on the call.
Do I need an LLC to qualify for business cards?
No. Sole proprietors, freelancers, and side businesses qualify — you can apply as a sole prop with your SSN. If you have an EIN, even better, but it's not required.
Do you apply for cards for me, or need my logins?
No, and never. You submit every application and make every booking yourself, from your own accounts. I don't ask for logins, card numbers, or credentials of any kind — the plan runs on the spend totals you give me. Approvals are the issuers' decision alone, and I don't promise them.
What if an issuer turns me down?
It happens, even to owners with strong profiles. When it does, I re-plan the sequence around the decline at no charge. And if declines leave the delivered plan short of its guaranteed value, the guarantee applies — the baseline you signed is the measuring stick.
What about annual fees?
They're in the math from day one — every number I quote is net of fees. A card that doesn't clear its fee several times over on your spend doesn't make the plan.
My vendors charge extra for card payments. Doesn't that eat the benefit?
Sometimes it does, and the plan respects that. Paying a 3% surcharge to earn 2% back is a losing trade, and I won't dress it up. Each vendor gets its own call: where the fee outruns the earn, that spend stays right where it is. Once in a while a large welcome offer flips the math for a month or two — if so, you'll see the cost and the payoff side by side before deciding.
Can my spouse or my employees be part of this?
Employees, yes — employee cards on your business accounts roll their spend into your points, and who carries which card is part of the plan. A spouse's personal cards live on the household side of the practice, and a second owner's separate business is its own engagement. Either way I'll say so before anything is billed.
How do rewards show up in my bookkeeping — and are they taxable?
Bookkeeping doesn't change: expenses post in the same amounts to the same categories no matter which card they ride on. Taxes are a different question. Rewards earned on deductible business spend can have real tax consequences, and the answer depends on your entity and your books — I'm not a tax professional and I don't give tax advice. Take the plan to your CPA; I'm glad to walk them through the mechanics if that helps.
How much of my time does this take?
Fifteen minutes for the free call, about an hour for the plan walkthrough. After that your spending runs the way it always has — the cards do the work.
I already have a business card. Isn't that enough?
That's the question we answer on the call. Most owners run everything through one flat-rate card, which typically leaves 40–60% of the available value unclaimed. Bring last month's numbers and we'll compare what you earned against what a sequenced setup would have.
Find out what your spend is worth.
Pick a time below. The call is free, takes 15 minutes, and you leave with your number either way.
The deal: if I can't find you at least $3,000 a year in value on the call, we part as friends — no pitch, no follow-up sequence.
